Insurance Disclaimer
Santé Counseling clinicians accept a wide variety of insurances. Although we verify benefits as a courtesy, we do not guarantee benefit coverage until a claim has been filed and completed. We encourage our clients to check with their insurance provider regarding benefits, as well as discuss insurance coverage during the initial intake with their clinician. For out-of-network coverage, many of our clinicians provide superbills so that clients can request reimbursements from their insurance provider directly. Most importantly, our clinicians and biller, regardless of in or out-of-network benefits, work hard to ensure that your claims are filed in a timely and accurate manner.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that life happens and in the event of an emergency, sessions may need to be cancelled/rescheduled. Santé Counseling requires 24 hour notice of cancellations. If you are unable to give our office 24 hour notice of your cancellation/reschedule, you will be subject to the $100 late cancellation/No Show No Call fee.
Confidentiality
Santé Counseling values and respects your confidentiality. We firmly believe that much of the client’s growth can be determined by the therapeutic rapport and relationship developed within sessions. Our individual and group services are privileged and protected by federal and state law and our code of ethics (ACA Code of Ethics for LCMHCAs/LCMHCs/LCMHCS and NASW Code of Ethics for LCSWs). However, there are two circumstances in which confidentiality cannot be guaranteed either legally or ethically. (1) If we believe that you will do harm to yourself or someone else and (2) If we believe that a child, elder, or disabled person has been or will be harmed or neglected. Additionally, it is important to note that medical records are subject to subpoena and Santé Counseling follows all general statutes, federal, and state laws related to the release of medical records subpoenaed.
For additional information regarding our policies and practices, please refer our Notice of Privacy Practices, Informed Consent for Treatment, and Practice Policy documents reviewed and completed during the initial intake process. These can be accessed in the client portal or by contacting our offices.
