Callie Marino, MS, EdS, LCMHC, NCC
Callie Marino received her master’s degree with an education specialty in couples and family counseling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Callie provides mental health counseling services to adults, couples, families, and adolescents to address a variety of concerns and life issues. As a counselor, Callie integrates a variety of counseling techniques in her work with clients depending on personal counseling goals and varying on the uniqueness of each individual. She primarily uses Family Systems Theory, Emotion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, which means that she looks at family dynamics and family of origin issues as well as looking at how your behaviors are impacted by your thoughts and feelings. Callie believes that family relationships and attachment issues significantly affect the way people function day-to-day. She also believes that people have the ability and the ideas to make healthy change and create an enjoyable life.
