Santé Counseling provides a number of therapeutic services designed to enhance client’s health and overall functioning. Currently, our fees include self-pay and insurance options for billing, depending on the service being provided. Santé clinicians participate in a wide range of insurance providers and will be happy to assist you in checking your insurance benefits and discussing services that would meet your specific needs. If you do not have insurance coverage, please inquire about our self-pay rates and income based sliding scale options.

Understanding services
Individual Counseling
A one-on-one space entirely for you, your thoughts, emotions, experiences, and goals. Individual counseling supports personal growth, healing, and skill-building.
Could be used for:

Anxiety, stress, or feeling overwhelmed

Depression or low mood
-
Processing past experiences or trauma
-
Life transitions or identity exploration and self-understanding
What to expect:

A private, supportive environment
-
Space to talk openly and be heard without judgment

Collaboration on goals that matter to you

Tools, insight, and strategies tailored to your needs
What not to expect:
-
Not advice-giving or someone “telling you what to do”
-
Not a quick fix; growth takes time and practice

Not focused on changing others (even if they’re part of the concern)
Couples Counseling
A space for people in a relationship to work on communication, connection, and challenges together; whether you’re dating, partnered, married, or navigating a transition.
Could be used for:

Communication difficulties and/or frequent conflict

Rebuilding trust after hurt or disconnection
-
Navigating life changes together
-
Strengthening intimacy (physical, emotional, etc)
What to expect:

A neutral space where both partners are supported

Focus on patterns and cycle recognition

Learning healthier ways to communicate and function

Opportunities to practice new skills between sessions
What not to expect:

Not about taking sides or assigning blame
-
Not a place where the therapist “fixes” your partner

Not a guarantee the relationship will stay together; sometimes clarity and understanding is the goal
Family Counseling
A collaborative space for families to improve communication, navigate challenges, and strengthen relationships. This can include parents/caregivers, children, siblings, multigenerational members or other important members of a system.
Could be used for:

Parent-child conflict and/or communication struggles

Blended family or co-parenting concerns

Behavioral concerns in children or teens

Major family transitions or stressors

Strengthening connection and understanding within a family system
What to expect:

A safe, structured space where each person’s voice matters

Support in understanding family roles and dynamics
-
Tools to improve communication, problem-solving, and gain healthy attachments/relationships
What not to expect:

Not about blaming one (or more) family members
-
Not a space where the therapist acts as a disciplinarian or enforcer
-
Not always comfortable or fun; growth can involve honest, sometimes difficult conversations and takes practice
